Our community facilities at Rivervue create space for our residents to enjoy. Whether it be spending time on your own, or with family and friends, the Rivervue lounge is the perfect venue. Rivervue has many active, social, and energetic residents who are happy to call it home.
At Rivervue, we have a number of casual and comfortable seating areas where you can catch up with friends, have a coffee, take a look at the paper, or maybe just have a change of scenery .
With classic, stylish furniture, selected to not only look good but to be comfortable, waiting for someone need not be much of a chore. With a high-end coffee machine, you can get a latte, espresso or whatever is your mood, or a cup of tea or hot chocolate if you're that way inclined.
With The Age and the Herald Sun delivered every day, and a fine selection of coffee table books, there are lots of possibilities for passing a few minutes.
The Lounge area also seems to be a general meeting area for people with a bit of time on their hands. Anyone taking a seat and ready to pass a few moments is likely to be up for a chat with someone who finds themselves in a similar situation. On a cold day, the spots near the fireplace are very popular. During the warmer weather, the seating areas out on the terrace looking out over the Maribyrnong River and the Medway Golf Course are a lovely place to be on your own with a book and a cup of coffee, (or a glass of wine), or for a barbecue with friends or family.
